Be My Mother Foundation

The Be My Mother Foundation is a new project and way to give back to less fortunate communities. The main focus and priority for our foundation is going to be the nourishment of individuals who would otherwise have less than optimal options or lack thereof when it comes to nutrition and clothing.

We want to create a system where we can get food directly to people on the streets and help push away the stigmas that modern society places on giving help to those in need. While we are just in our planning and growing phases we have ideas we are ready to implement and create to instantly start putting our vision into action.

• One of the stresses a family can endure is trying to feed their family while also trying to cloth their family. We all know school children and be cruel when it comes to the clothing a child wears. We want to be able to donate quality handmade clothing to various schools, halfway homes, homeless shelters, programs for at risk adolescents and other channels to give families some financial relief while also giving the children an opportunity to have one less thing to worry about. The ability to wear their own shirts or shorts to be able to grow into their own selves with our guilt or worry on the financial burden it would have cost their family.

• Our loftiest goals and most important to our cause is having access to a food truck. We want to be able to bring and make food directly to the people, and create a traditional food truck environment where people can order and take what they want to feed their families without the worry of having to pay. While we will seek out partners to aid in feeding the communities we wish to serve we also want the truck to be a place where the underserved get back some of their agency. The ability to pick and choose from an although limited menu would bring back the empowerment that they are in control of their most basic needs such as nourishment.
